"Siquijor is an island province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region. Siquijor is the third smallest province in the country, in terms of population as well as land area (after Camiguin and Batanes). Called Isla del Fuego or the "Island of Fire" during the Spanish colonial period, Siquijor is commonly associated with mystic traditions that the island's growing tourism industry capitalizes on."
We arrived on the island after a plane ride, van ride, ferry ride, then van ride. Welcome to the Philippines Walsh's! We were super impressed with our resort - Coco Grove! We had lunch, got settled into our rooms and headed out for a quick afternoon dive to see giant clams. Me being the dummy I am totally missed seeing all of the clams (how does that happen??) but apparently they were pretty cool.
Next we hit the pool bar, watched the first of many amazing sunsets, and had an amazing dinner topped off with some amazing girls singing to us at our table. What a great way to end the first day of vacation!
You can't really see anything, but these are the girls singing...AMAZING!
