They LOVE it when we took pictures
Sitting still waiting for instructions
When we arrived they said hello by grabbing our hand and putting the top sides of our fingers next to their forehead - this is a sign of respect. It was very cute. They sang us a song and then we got down to business of making a Valentine's Day mobile. As you can see by the pictures there are only bars on the outside wall of the school and that is the street. There are tarps over the sides of the school for when it rains. The classroom was about the size of very small kitchen and there were 16 little kids there. One of the little boys lived with his parents in their jeepney and his 5 brothers and sisters.
Time to make some mobiles!

Story time
Time for a snack
We brought snacks and juices and things with us to feed them and boy did they LOVE that. They even had goody bags to take home. We sang a couple rounds of hokey pokey and then it was time for them to go home. It was a very fun morning and I can't wait to go back again!
Here is a video of them singing for us.
